Feline Veterinarian
Training: 1988 Graduate of Western College of Veterinary Medicine
About Pam: Pam spends time cuddling with cats, walking, hiking, biking with her family, stopping to smell the roses and enjoy the beauty of nature. Pam has: four cats named Brandy, Sluggo, Zipper, and Nimbus; a dog named Tari; and four ducks named Pepper, Miss Wigglesworth, Waddles, and Daphne. |

Dr. Zita Doeschner
Veterinarian
Training: Graduated from University of Veterinary Medicine of Hannover, Germany in 2001 and received her Certificate of Qualification from the CVMA in 2004.
About Zita: Zita joined Shamrock in 2006. Her young son and daughter keep her on her toes. She has two wonderful pets, rescues Luna and Ralphie.
Zita enjoys having nature around her, exploring trails and beaches with her family, running, biking, cross-country skiing, and many kids' activities!

About Lynn: Lynn works part time and is owned by 3 dogs and 2 cats. She is an outdoor enthusiast and a soccer fanatic who loves spending time with her husband and young son.

Training: 1994 Animal Health Technology - University College of the Cariboo, Kamloops, BC
About Cris: Cris has 2 cats and 3 dogs. And, yes, she has a tendency to rescue any dog that looks potentially lost! Hiking, camping, canoeing, gardening and yard work occupy her free time especially when she can share these activities with her canine companions! All of her own pets have been acquired through the clinic in some way. |

About Alana: Alana is a Registered Animal Health Technologist with 25 years experience. She is currently self-employed working as a dental locum. Other employment includes teaching at Malaspina University-College and working as a keeper at the Mount Washington Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Centre. Alana lives with Bella, a Black Lab, and Pippin, a calico cat with an attitude! She enjoys a plentitude of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, sailing, kayaking, bicycling and skiing |

Training: Currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technology Distance Education Program with Purdue University and learning the clinical aspects of the training from Shamrock.
About Margaret: Margaret is the proud mother of five wonderful sons including two sets of twins! Margaret loves to spend her free time walking, doing yoga, gardening, and reading. Margarent has a beautiful Golden Retriever named Gracie. |

About Kristina: Kristina enjoys most outdoor activities especially hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, spending time on the water, and walking her dog. She also loves to travel to different parts of the world, reading, board games, and movies. Kristina has one dog, Tucker, and 3 cats, Jasper, Annabelle, and Matilda.
Kristina has been involved with the Canadian Animal Assistance Team and has travelled to New Orleans to assist after Hurricane Katrina and the Northwest Territories to participate in a spay and neuter program. |

Receptionist at various places all around the world for the past 40 years.
About Sue: Travelling is Sue's passion and she also enjoys walks, the beach, camping, making wine, and meeting new people. Chi Chi, the tuxedo cat, and her best friend, Charlie, her best friend, share Sue's household. Sue has been in the Comox Valley since 1983 and at Shamrock Vet Clinic since 1996. |

About Pam: Pam joined the team in 2007. Pam is the proud mother of 2 very busy boys. If that’s not enough to keep her busy, Pam also raises, trains and trials Australian Shepherds. In her ‘spare’ time, she runs a farm with various critters, enjoys gardening and horseback riding. |

A transplant from the mainland, Brenda loves to call the Comox Valley home. She is the proud "mom" to Ice and enjoys participating in any outdoor activity that can include him, such as running, hiking, and agility. |

About Louise: Louise came to Shamrock in 2004. Her hobbies include sewing and crafts.
Louise has a white and tan flop eared rabbit named Cliff. It is the only pet that her daughter hasn't been allergic to! |

Lulu
Lulu is the gorgeous panther you'll often find sprawled across our reception area. Her goal in life is to be adored and to spread black hair everywhere. She came to stay "temporarily" with us many years ago.

Trouble
Her name says it all! And we actually went to the SPCA to adopt her. What were we thinking? If you ever leave a pet carrier open in our clinic, you can be guaranteed Trouble will be in it before you leave.
