We have a modern x-ray unit and an x-ray processor that enables us to view dry radiographs in minutes. Although there are times when we may ask for your companion to be left with us for having radiographs (usually when sedation is required), often we are able to have you wait for your pet while x-rays are being taken.

Unlike in human medicine, our technologists are usually in the room with the patient. This means that your pet always have at least one of us there while being radiographed.

Our veterinarians will interpret the radiograph, or in difficult cases, the x-rays may be sent to a veterinary radiologist for a specialist's opinion.
