Many lab tests can be performed here in hospital for your companion. We are able to examine urine or tissue samples with our microscope, and our Idexx serum analyzer and CBC (complete blood count) machine allow for many tests to be performed in a short period of time.

We offer preanesthetic testing for your pet on the day of surgery and, in cases of long standing illness such as kidney disease or anemia, we can monitor regression or progression of the disease.

Some tests cannot be performed in our clinic or are performed by pathologists. For those tests, blood or tissue samples are couriered to other laboratories and the results are faxed to us as soon as they are available – often within a day or so.
